3rd Annual Student Art Exhibition

West Gallery
October 30, 2026
- February 6, 2027

The 3rd annual juried Student Art Exhibition opened on October 30 and is on view in the West Gallery of the Albany Museum of Art through February 6, 2027.

More than 70 Southwest Georgia middle and high school students submitted works in four categories: Abstract 2D, Technical 2D, Photography & Digital, and Sculpture & 3D.

First- and second-place winners and honorable mentions in each of the four categories will be announced on Saturday, November 7, at the Heart of Albany Festival, which is being held in Tift Park this year. In addition to certificates, high school artists who win first or second place will receive cash awards.

The People’s Choice winner, who receives a cash award, will also be announced at the festival. Museum-goers determine the People’s Choice winner by scanning a QR code for the online ballot with their smartphones, then voting for their favorite artwork.
