This oral history project, a partnership between the Albany Museum of Art and the South Georgia Archives at the Thronateeska Heritage Center, highlights several accounts of Albany through the narratives of key local historians and community organizers. The screening of these interviews on display at the AMA is intended to accompany the exhibition Sense of Place.
These oral histories will be permanently housed at the South Georgia Archives, placing further emphasis on the need and importance of preserving these stories.
