AMA Summer Opportunities for Teens

Teens Know the Art of Inspiration

Summer will be here soon and school will be out. If you’re a high school teen, spend part of your free time this summer at the Albany Museum of Art. You can have an impact on younger kids, pursue your interests, and make a difference in your community through art.

Volunteer at Art Camps

You will work with our talented camp teachers to help younger campers express themselves through art as they develop social skills. Along with way you’ll gain valuable experience working with children and in educational settings. Plus, you will earn up to 40 volunteer hours by signing up for a full week, and you’ll have a blast doing it!

You can find the camp schedule HERE.

You can:

  • Work on your photography talents and the way you present yourself;
  • Upstyle Your Fit by personalizing and refreshing it with screen-printing and sewing;
  • Unleash your imagination by painting miniatures and learning the basics of role-playing and tabletop gaming.

Join the TAB

The AMA’s Teen Art Board (TAB) has already left its mark on our community, and you can help teens continue to have a positive impact in the coming school year. Art is a tremendous way to communicate, you need to speak up for your generation! Applications for the 2025-26 school year will be accepted through 11 PM on May 12.
