
Soul & Spirit: A Juneteenth Evening at the AMA
Soul & Spirit: A Juneteenth Evening at the AMA is an event for those 21 and older and starts at 5 PM at the Albany Museum of Art.
Vendors of handmade items Smokin Peace and Rayees of Light and a wine-and-beer bar will be in the lobby. A jewelry and waist beads demo and history lesson with Aqwerd Gyrl Co. crafts in the AMA Classroom.
Food tasting will start in the lobby at 5:45 PM and continue until it’s gone. Participants include Q’s Cake, Baby Shane’s, and Cornerstone Coffee.
Entertainment, including Dance ASU and readings by Angie Jones, will be 5:45-6:30 PM and 7-7:30 PM in the Willson Auditorium.
From 6:30-7 PM, Black History Trivia with prizes including Cornerstone Coffee gift certificates, a Flint RiverQuarium membership, and paint party gift baskets.
Tickets will be sold at the door. Admission is $5, or $10 with two drinking tickets. Additional drinking tickets will be $5 each.
