Mural Drawing Workshop for Elementary Students

Community EventFreeRSVP

The Albany Museum of Art Teen Art Board (TAB) is leading a Downtown Mural Project aimed at revitalizing and destigmatizing downtown Albany through the power of public art. Collaborating with the New York artist Ramiro Davaro-Comas, the TAB has envisioned a mural that will feature artwork created by local elementary students. Students from Albany and surrounding cities are invited to participate.

On Saturday, Jan 20, TAB members will host a mural-drawing workshop at the Albany Museum of Art for elementary school students (grades 1-5). Participating students will create drawings during the session, which will be sent to Davaro-Comas for possible inclusion in the murals.

The workshop is free of charge, but please RSVP to ensure we can accommodate all who want to attend. RSVP your student or students HERE.
