Fall Painting Workshop Series

Artist Joseph Bryant will teach the process of creating a painting from the first sketch to the final details in this six-part series for high school students and adults. Bryant will guide participants through the painting process, covering foundational drawing, proportion, light and shadow, color mixing, painting techniques, and finishing a completed work.

Each class builds on the skills introduced in the previous session, allowing participants to develop their work and confidence over the full six weeks. Participants are encouraged to attend the full series, as each session builds upon the previous class.

All painting materials are provided. Participants should bring their own sketchbooks. Each session is $25 ($20 for AMA donors.)

Independent studio time in the AMA Classroom will be available on Saturdays for those participating in the series. Studio times will be announced.
