Anna Wilschetz, of Albany, moved into the professional chalk artist ranks in 2021 after winning the amateur art category for adults at both the 2018 and 2019 AMA ChalkFest events. She also created some of the storefront art a the virtual 2020 AMA ChalkFest. A humanities teacher at Deerfield-Windsor School in Albany since 2016, she has an M.Ed. from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo., and a BA in history from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
