Second Thursdays | 10-11:30 AM | September through May
Homeschool students in grades K-5th grade learn in the gallery and work together on a take-home project in the AMA Classroom.
After taking a break for the summer art camps, Homeschool Day will return for the 2026-27 school year.
Dates for the 2026-27 school year are Sept 10, Oct 8, Nov 12, Dec 10, Jan 14, Feb 11, March 11, April 8, and May 13.
Homeschooled students benefit immensely from visiting the AMA, which provides a rich visual environment to address a wide range of topics such as cultural awareness and understanding, critical thinking skills, and practical real-life application of literature, history, mathematics, language arts, and science.
In the classroom, students practice new artistic techniques, grow social skills, improve fine motor skills, and foster creativity. This in-gallery and hands-on exposure complements traditional homeschooling methods, enhancing their understanding of various subjects.
COST: $15, or $10 for AMA donors.
Space is limited to ensure the best experience.
