Homeschool students in grades K-5th grade learn in the gallery and work together on a take-home project in the AMA Classroom. Homeschool Day is a 90-minute program during the school year (September through May) that usually takes place on the second Thursday of each month.
Homeschooled students benefit immensely from visiting the AMA, which provides a rich visual environment to address a wide range of topics such as cultural awareness and understanding, critical thinking skills, and practical real-life application of literature, history, mathematics, language arts, and science.
In the classroom, students practice new artistic techniques, grow social skills, improve fine motor skills, and foster creativity. This in-gallery and hands-on exposure complements traditional homeschooling methods, enhancing their understanding of various subjects.
Space is limited to ensure the best experience.
2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR
Remaining dates for the 2026-27 school year are Oct 8, Nov 12, Dec 10, Jan 14, Feb 11, March 11, April 8, and May 13.
