The Albany Museum of Art Is Bringing the Museum to You!

Join us online for these art and education programs

For Adults

Picture
Creative & Courageous began as a spotlight on what Albany Museum of Art members, local artists and other friends are doing to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue the series by focusing on people who have made a positive influence on the community.

You can nominate someone HERE.

The stories will be posted on the AMA Facebook Page, and you also can see them HERE.

For the Whole Family

Create your own masterpiece at home with the Albany Museum of Art's Life Imitating Art challenge.

Take everyday items around the house and use them to create a great work of art. Take a photo and email it HERE, or post it on Facebook and tag AlbanyMuseumOfArt.

You can see the gallery HERE.

Share with others what you see at home in our Art in Residence contest.

We asked area residents to paint, draw, photograph or sculpt something they can see in their own backyards. The winners were announced April 17, 2020.

Our Facebook page is HERE. You can see the gallery HERE.
