Through your AMA membership, you inspire the love of art in every visitor who walks into the lobby of the Albany Museum of Art. We invite you to visit the museum as often as you like. Explore our galleries of artworks, which are committed to showcasing all genres, media, and cultures with works of local, regional, and national importance.
Your membership is instrumental in preserving the AMA’s collection of art objects, and in making art exhibitions and educational opportunities available and easily accessible to the Albany and Southwest Georgia community.
The AMA is deeply grateful for all our members, who receive special invitations to events at the AMA and can attend AMA events at no cost or with special member discounts. AMA members also are eligible for free admission/member prices at hundreds of other U.S. museums through reciprocal programs.

All Albany Museum of Art members receive these benefits:
- An AMA membership card;
- Invitations to all exhibition opening receptions;
- AMArt magazine mailed directly to your home or business;
- Invitations to all AMA events including fundraisers, lectures, trips, and performances;
- Discounts for special events like the annual AMA Art Ball, as well as museum art camps, art workshops, and special programs and events;
- Participation in the Southeastern Reciprocal Membership Program (SERM), which includes free admission and discounts at over 300 museums throughout the Southeast.
- Memberships at Supporting Level or higher qualify for the NARM (North American Reciprocal Membership) Program, which includes hundreds more museums and places of interest throughout the United States;
- Discounts on AMA birthday parties and rentals (at Supporting Level and higher).
