Spring time is just around the corner, which means we will be seeing a lot of rain. But, what comes after the rain? A rainbow!

Have you ever seen a rainbow in the sky? You might have noticed that the colors are always in the same order: RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, INDIGO and VIOLET!
For our rainbow, let's use red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink!
Let's learn the rainbow color song together to help us remember!
Whenever you want to remember the colors of the rainbow, just sing this song!
Are you ready to make some art?
- A sheet of white paper (any size)
- Scraps of paper with the colors of the rainbow OR white paper that you color or paint with rainbow colors
- Glue
- Markers/crayons/paint/or colored pencils
The next thing you will do is either print out or draw your own rainbow template, like the one below!
Make sure your rainbow has 7 bands for you to fill in with your beautiful color.
Once you have your pieces torn, mix them all up in a mix pile!
Starting with RED, Let's sort all of our colors into piles.
I can't wait to see you!
