Corks & Canvases: The Fourth of July, 1916

Get into the Spirit of 1776 at this Corks & Canvases Painting Party at the AMA! Grab your spouse, a date, or a friend, or paint solo as you enjoy a glass of wine and snacks while you get step-by-step instructions on recreating a famous work of art.

This session, coming shortly before the U.S. celebrates its 250th anniversary, will be inspired by The Fourth of July, 1916, a painting by Childe Hassam.

This class is for all skill levels. Even if you have never used a paintbrush, you will leave the AMA with your own original artwork, one that you will be proud to hang on the wall at your home or office. The AMA will provide paint, brushes, and a 16×20 canvas, as well as refreshments. You can bring a favorite beverage or snack if you want.
