In these unusual times, we have all discovered important aspects of life that we may have been taken for granted--family get-togethers, gathering with friends, interaction with others. We have learned new ways to stay connected.

Art Ball 2021 will take on a new look as it transforms into a safe, fun collection of events that will allow for safe social experiences while also supporting the Albany Museum of Art and its critical mission of creating stronger community through art.

This year, the question is How Do You Art Ball? We have plenty of ways that you can continue to support the AMA's work of creating strength and unity in the community and region through art. Your support will help bring the art of the world to Southwest Georgia, and the art of Southwest Georgia to the world!

A Letter from the Co-Chairs of Art Ball 2021

Happy New Year!

Each year we celebrate the AMA with the annual Art Ball.

2021 will be no different. We will still celebrate!

Like everything the AMA has accomplished over the past year, the Art Ball has been planned in a thoughtful, creative way with intentions to keep our community safe while still providing a fun, worthwhile experience.

The annual Art Ball is the AMA's largest annual fundraiser. This event is vital to the success of the education programs, exhibitions and community events.

It is our hope to carry on and help the AMA ensure their mission of building community through art.

This year's hybrid event will take place on March 13.There will be small, private dinners and our Art Ball in a Box.
This carefully curated party-on-the-go can be enjoyed anywhere.

By joining us in celebration on the 13th, you'll be partnering with us to bring enriching and engaging art experiences to Southwest Georgia.

The funds raised from this one event keep admission free, support our Art from the Start programs for Head Start families, and provide scholarships to art camps and classes.

Be sure to mark the date and please consider supporting the 2021AMA Art Ball!

Thank you,

Mallory Black
