In June 2000, the Albany Museum of Art opened AMAzing Space, an interactive children’s gallery as part of a larger education wing expansion. This 1,600 square foot space holds 14 hands-on educational activities related to the Museum’s art collection. This space serves to reinforce concepts and skills taught in the classroom by teachers of all disciplines. This space is available for field trips and other educational activities and is available to parents and students year-round with FREE admission.
