DESCRIPTION:Families will explore memory, nostalgia, and how images and experiences shift over time with hands-on art projects and guidance from exhibiting artists Maiya Lea Hartman and Larry Cook.\nThe 2-hour program has:\n\nMemory Remix: Use collage and layering to explore how memory shifts as images and materials are layered.\nAdornment Studio: Create expressive mixed-media portraits using fabric, paper, and found materials.\nMemory Spaces: Build mini art installations based on real or imagined memories.\n\nWe’ll also have additional open stations, including a community scrapbook, a memory drawing prompt table, and a partnership with the Dougherty County Public Library, which will provide genealogy and local history resources.\n
