Set for the first Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am, Toddler Takeover is a 30-minute program designed for children ages 15 months through 3 years and their caregivers.
Toddler Takeover engages children’s creativity and incorporates monthly themes with related artwork, art-making activities, stories, and tours. Toddler Takeover is sibling friendly, so bring the whole gang!

Sept 4—Neighborhood for Painters: Explore what a neighborhood is and read Look Where We Live! by Scot Ritchie. We will build a paper neighborhood together.
Oct 2—Educators as Artists: What is art? What do you see? How do you feel? We will read Art by Patrick McDonnell and enjoy a finger-painting activity.
Nov 6—Home Tour: Learn new words about items in the home, identify colors/ vocabulary in the art, and read a book about household vocabulary. Little artists will paint their house and favorite objects.
Dec 4--Brian Dettmer: Selective Collective Memories: Read I Have a Friend by Judith Inglese and make a tissue paper collage.
