SUMMER ART CAMPS

Summer will be here before you know it. Your child can have fun while learning and expressing himself or herself creatively at our Summer Art Camps.

Each camp has a theme and activities that are age appropriate. We’ll also make sure they get some time outside to absorb much needed Vitamin D! Campers can bring a brown bag lunch or you can purchase lunch for the week for $30 at registration.

Space is limited and many of these camps fill up early, so register your camper as soon as you know what your summer travel plans are. We have a terrific lineup of engaging art camps to choose from. Take advantage of Early Bird discounts through May 15. AMA members, don't forget you get membership discounts!

2-4 YEARS OLD

Littles Camp I (3 day camp)
May 27-29 | 9 am - noon

Registration: $45 AMA members, $50 future members

Littles Camp II (3 day camp)
July 20-24 | 9 am - noon 
Registration: $90 AMA members, $100 future members 

K-5TH GRADERS

Pinterest (3 day camp)
May 27-29 | 9 am - 4 pm


Registration: Full day, $90 for AMA members, $100 future members; Half day, $50 for AMA members and $60 for future members.

Artful Abstraction
June 1-5 | 9 am - 4 pm

Fantastical & Magical

Tour de Cuisine Culinary Camp (3 day camp)
Instructor: Chef Todd White
June 29-July 1 | 8 am - noon 

Early bird registration: $65 or AMA members, $85 for future members.

Artrepreneurs
July 13-17 | 9 am - 4 pm 


​This camp is for the business-minded kid who loves art. Students will devise and execute their art-related business over the week. Activities will include creating a business card and logo. Campers will sell their art/product on Friday from 4-5 pm.

2ND-6TH GRADERS

Meditative Art
June 8-12 | 9 am - 4 pm

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL

Fashion
Instructor: Heather Ashberry
June 22-26 | 9 am - 4 pm

​For middle and high schoolers, this hands-on class will be taught by Heather Ashberry, of Beatrice Wormwood. Students will get a crash course in fashion design.  In the words of Tim Gunn, learn how to “make it work” in this unconventional fashion design class! Through fun and challenging projects, students will become familiar with a variety of textiles and develop drawing and problem-solving skills. They will explore pattern, form and function through a series of projects, including fabric printing, weaving, dying, and block printing.  The class will culminate in a display of each student’s piece on Friday from 3-5 pm.  Students will be required to provide some supplies.

Early bird registration: $170 for AMA members, $190 for future members.
After May 15: $190 for AMA members, $210 for future members

Advanced Fashion
