AMA ART LOVERS BOOK CLUB

The AMA Art Lovers Book Club meets every other month, with each series beginning in May.

There is no cost to participate, and you may attend as many or as few club meetings as you like. Future meetings this series are Jan 19, 2021 and March 16, 2021. All meetings start at 6 pm, and you're welcome to bring a snack or favorite beverage to the discussion.

YOGA IN THE GALLERY

Yoga in the Gallery
, with the Albany Yoga Project, is conducted on the first Thursday of the month from 6-7 pm. The next session is Jan 7, 2021.

Come as you are. There are yoga mats available if you forget yours. This is a free event, but there is a suggested $7 donation to support Albany Yoga Project and Albany Museum of Art programs.

VISUAL VERBAL JOURNAL WORKSHOPS

Led by art teacher Noelle Petersen, these workshops are 2-4 pm on two Saturdays, Jan 23 and 30, 2021. Learn how to create and use your own inspiring visual-thinking journal. You can attend one or both workshops. Cost: $15, AMA members; $20, future members. For information, visit HERE.

Rent the Willson Auditorium, galleries and other spaces at the Albany Museum of Art for your special event. Please note that the AMA complies with health officials' guidance regarding crowd sizes and safety meaures.

EXCLUSIVE! MEMBERS MONDAYS

There are advantages to being a member of the Albany Museum of Art! Now, members can view exhibitions between 10 am and 5 pm on Mondays when the museum is closed to the general public.

Just give us a call at 229.439.8400 and a staff member will be happy to schedule your Monday visit.

Drop in Fridays at 11 am for a guided tour of the Albany Museum of Art exhibitions.

An AMA staff member will take you through the exhibitions and share interesting information about the artists and their work. You don't need to call ahead!

TODDLER TAKEOVER

The AMA's popular Toddler Takeover art education program includes story time and an art project. These are now back in-person at the AMA!

Homeschool Day
brings monthly STEAM education to students in grades K-5th grade. These are now back in-person at the AMA!

AMERICAN GIRL WINTER TEA PARTY

Grab your best friend for the social event of Winter 2021--the 2nd annual American Girl Winter Tea Party on Saturday, Jan 16, 2021 from 2-4 pm. Bring your favorite doll, stuffed animal or action figure for an afternoon of fun, games and, of course, tea! This will be limited to 12 guests (each may be accompanied by one parent).
