Art Ball 2020: A Flair for Art
Feb 15, 2020 | 6:30 pm |The Albany Museum of Art

The evening of Saturday, Feb 15, 2020 will be one in which Albany demonstrates a true Flair for Art!

Art Ball will make its long anticipated return with a festive evening at the Albany Museum of Art that will include a great dinner, terrific music, and a wide array of items and trips for silent and live auctions.

This year’s event is being chaired by Margaret “Puddin’” Bass, who is working on details for the gala with her amazing group of volunteers. Art Ball 2020 will certainly be an event that exemplifies its theme, A Flair for Art. Event planner Kate Grubb has designed a fantastic evening. The black-tie-optional dinner, which will be held in the Haley Gallery, will be catered by Stewbo’s Group following a cocktail hour.

Dancing will follow dinner in the Harry and Jane Willson Auditorium, with music by the popular band Close to Midnight.

During the evening, those attending will have the opportunity to bid on items and trips that are more than outstanding investments and wonderful experiences. They are critical for raising funds needed for the AMA to fulfill its mission of making world-class art and robust programming fully accessible to everyone in Albany and Southwest Georgia.

Donations received through the Libby Womack Paddle Raise will help fund educational programming, art camp scholarships, and internships that benefit both the student and the museum.

The return of the AMA gala has been highly anticipated after the devastation of Hurricane Michael forced the cancellation of Art Ball 2019.  Tables will sell out early, so please do not delay in reserving your seats or table. You can get more information at by emailing Chloe Hinton HERE or by calling her at 229.439.8400.
